I recently discovered at-home baths. A grown adult has zero business in a tub for 30 minutes but I tried it and it was so. much. fun! Ha! I had been missing out on baths all these years and no one told me how great they were.
Peewee turned 14 last month. I can’t believe it! A succulent refuses to survive in my home yet I have managed to care for my little fur guy for 14 years. I wanted to write another blog post about Peewee, but then I realized I hadn’t written one about Tito (pictured below). So here I am, writing about Tito.
After 18 months of blogging and Instagramming, I decided it was time to round up a few girls for my first girls trip! I sent out a few direct messages and before I knew it, girls were trusting me for a long weekend getaway.
Actually, I bought the car 40 days ago! The Dallas rain was non-stop and it didn’t allow me to get a car wash for some photos. Finally, the rain is gone and I got in a few photos! I hope you enjoy this girly car review that I wrote starting November as I went through the test driving and elimination process of vehicles 🙂
My first yoga class EVER was August last year. I went to Black Swan Yoga as an instructors guest and bought a yoga mat right before class. I was excited and had no clue what to expect. For example, I didn’t know I was getting myself into a hot yoga class, much less a powerful flow class. It was intense! The one hour class kept going and going and… you get the point. I thought it would never end. But then, at end of class we collectively took a few oms before ending the practice with savasana (corpse pose). There, in the last few minutes of class, is when all the hard work made sense. So I came back the next day and got myself a membership at Black Swan Yoga.
I survived the holidays as a working woman (my 9-5 job here)! I took no days off and pushed through like a champ when all my co-workers had days off at a time.
I apologize for the lack of photos here! It was an exhausting weekend, and photos were the furthest thing from my mind, but I hope my fellow runners enjoy this post 🙂
