It’s a new year! Holy moly where did the time go?! I hear people say this all the time and I hate to be that person again, but I am not the same person I was one year ago. Life can be a little predictable, right? We get into routines, we know certain things will happen, but 2019 was new and challenging. More on that HERE if you’re interested, but this blog post is all about resolutions!
Last week I asked you to vote on an Instagram poll asking if you knew I was a vegetarian. Forty-three percent of you did not know about my diet. I felt like the worst vegetarian! I’ve written this post to make up for that.
Yes, that’s ME climbing. I can’t believe it either! Before I get to the climb, here’s a quick story of how I, a girly gal, ended up rock climbing.
It may not look like it and I may not act like it, but I actually enjoy the outdoors. Something about fresh air and wide open spaces makes my heart skip a beat. Dallas is a great city for a lot of things, but lacks outdoor activity. A paved running trail, park between highways, and rooftop bars are as “outdoorsy” as it gets in Big D. No shame! I love it here! It just means I have had to fill my nature cup elsewhere.

The first girls trip to Fredericksburg was such a hit I decided to plan another, this time to Palm Springs with a couple new faces! Palm Springs was an easy destination to choose – everything everywhere is photo ready and I was craving heat at the start of summer. The sweet desert city delivered both!

I apologize in advance if you’ve already heard this story on Instagram, but it’s one of my favorite stories to tell. Friendships are insanely hard, and finding this Swiss gal living in Chicago and connecting on a social media app sounds crazy even to me, and I’m the lucky one that experienced it.
My 9-day winter getaway to London was incredible! Me and Prashi stayed in London longer than we had planned (due to my passport issues) so we made the most of our remaining time in London. No one spends that much time in a foreign country without picking up a few things, right? Here are 8 things I noticed about Londoners after a few days!

Prashi had already been to London a few times and it was really important to him for me to visit and like it. Well, I did! Yeah it was a little cold, yeah we were stuck in London because I had passport problems, but we made the most of our situation and had a wonderful 9 days together.
Do you remember my Fredericksberg girls trip? Maybe you don’t, but it was a blast! I didn’t know how much I needed the blogging community until that weekend getaway. It was a full weekend of photos and talks about instagram engagement, instagram posting, follower growth, sponsored content, and so much more. I felt like screaming at the top of my lungs, “finally, people who understand!”
