Driving my car for the past couple years has been good and all, but I was so glad to get the opportunity to switch things up with a Nissan last weekend. My friend Andrew Maritim from Trophy Nissan let me escape with the 2020 Pathfinder Rock Creek Edition. Let me tell you, it is stunning!
My Options
Nissan has a few SUV options. The Rogue and Murano are similar in size to what I currently drive and are perfect for a growing family or those with frequent activity in their vehicle. Or let’s be honest, maybe you’re a single gal like me and just love having plenty of space!
The Pathfinder and Armada are larger vehicles with a third row. I took these roomier SUV’s into consideration to fit my group of 5 adults with 5 suitcases, which would be far more comfortable for my passengers in a Pathfinder or Armada.
I ultimately decided on driving the Pathfinder because it still had the third row I wanted while being a size I felt comfortable driving.
The Pathfinder
Boy oh boy does this vehicle have curb appeal! I pulled up and the group I was driving was so excited to check out every detail of the car.
We drove a total of 13 hours and I must say it’s nice to drive happy passengers. My girls in the second row had access to charging ports and A/C vents they could control, and my passenger in the third row continued to have air flow through her own vent even though she was way in the back.
The Pathfinder was even better as the driver! I took full advantage of the heated steering to keep my hands warm on chilly mornings without blasting the heat and driving the girls crazy! One of my favorite features was having my blind spot warning inside the vehicle rather than on the side-view mirror making the warning more prominent and hard to miss, in turn making for a safer driving experience.
Other things to love in the Pathfinder was the built in navigation, motion activated trunk, and cameras built around the vehicle for full visibility while reversing and parking. There’s just so much to love!
If you find yourself interested in the Pathfinder or any other Nissan, see Andrew Maritim at Trophy Nissan.
The dealership itself is one of a kind, celebrating over fifty years in serving the Dallas Fort-Worth area. Customer service is incredible, and I wouldn’t be returning if it wasn’t!
